Legal notice and terms of use
Last updated: November 4, 2026. Version 1 of this document.
This document identifies the owner of billquill and sets the terms for using its public website and its application. If you create an account, it is the contract between your company and us.
1. Owner
billquill, its website and its application are owned by Human Talent & Me, a Bulgarian company operating the billquill brand, with registered address at Str. Stefan Verkovich 10, 4000 Plovdiv (Bulgaria) and VAT number BG205568902. Its business address is European Trade Center, Building D, 1F, 115 M Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd., Sofia 1784 (Bulgaria). You can contact us at privacy@talent360hub.com.
2. Purpose and acceptance
billquill is a web application to issue and receive invoices and quotes, manage clients, suppliers, expenses, banks and payments, and offer clients a portal. Browsing the public website means accepting this legal notice. Creating an account or using the application also means accepting these terms and, for whoever creates the company, the data processing agreement.
The service is aimed at businesses and professionals. By signing up you declare that you act in the course of your professional activity and that you can accept these terms on behalf of your company.
3. Companies and users
- Whoever signs the company up becomes its first administrator.
- Administrators add users and give them a role: administrator, editor or viewer (read only). Each user sees and does only what their role allows.
- The number of users depends on the plan.
- You must be of legal age, give truthful data and keep your password safe. If you believe someone is using your account, change your password and tell your administrator or us.
4. Plans and payment
- There is a free plan and paid plans. Prices and what each plan includes are published on the pricing page. Prices exclude taxes, which are added depending on the country.
- New accounts start with a trial of the Pro plan that needs no card; when it ends, the account continues on the free plan unless you subscribe.
- Payment is made with Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
- Price changes are announced in advance and apply from the next period.
- As the service is contracted for a professional activity, there is no consumer right of withdrawal and no refund of periods already started, unless the law requires it.
5. Your invoices and your tax obligations
billquill is a tool: your company is responsible for the content of its invoices, for applying the right taxes and for meeting the invoicing, bookkeeping and record-keeping obligations of its country. Calculations and suggestions in the application do not replace professional tax advice.
- Each company has a billing mode. In strict mode (always in Spain), issued invoices cannot be edited or deleted and are corrected with corrective invoices. In flexible mode, issued invoices can be edited, cancelled or deleted, and every change is recorded.
- For companies in Spain, billquill generates the Veri*Factu fingerprint and QR code of each invoice, but does not send the records to the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT).
6. Online payment of invoices
Your company can let its clients pay invoices online with its own Stripe or PayPal account. The money goes directly to that account, under your contract with Stripe or PayPal, and billquill charges no commission. Refunds, disputes and the relationship with your clients are your company's responsibility.
7. Your company's data
The data your company stores in billquill belongs to it. You grant us the limited right to host it, process it and back it up only to provide the service. Regarding the personal data it contains, your company is the controller and we are the processor, under the data processing agreement.
Your company is responsible for having a legal basis for the data it stores, informing its clients and suppliers and handling their rights.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use billquill to:
- issue false or fraudulent invoices or documents, or help evade taxes;
- send emails to people who have not asked for them where the law requires consent, or content that is illegal or infringes other people's rights;
- distribute malware, phish or impersonate other people or companies;
- try to access other companies' data, bypass roles or plan limits, or make massive or automated use that harms the service;
- breach the terms of the services you connect (Stripe, PayPal).
We may limit sending or suspend an account if we detect abnormal bounces or complaints, because they affect email delivery for every company.
9. API and webhooks
API keys act on behalf of your company: keep them like a password and revoke them when no longer used. The webhooks your company configures send its data to the addresses it chooses, under its responsibility.
10. AI-read data
The data the AI proposes when reading a received invoice or a statement is generated automatically and may contain errors. Review it before saving. Which data is sent to the AI provider is explained in the privacy policy.
11. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or the law, giving notice beforehand when possible. Your company can ask to close its account at any time, as explained in the privacy policy.
12. Intellectual and industrial property
The software, designs, texts, system templates, logos and the billquill brand belong to Human Talent & Me or its licensors. You may use them within the service and under these terms, but not reproduce or distribute them outside it without written permission.
13. Availability of the service
We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee it. We may interrupt it for maintenance or technical reasons and change its features. Features relying on third parties (email delivery, Stripe, PayPal, OpenAI) also depend on their availability.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, the content of the invoices and documents users create or send, tax consequences of their use, the use of AI-read data or outages of third-party services. Our total liability towards a company is limited to the amount it paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.
15. Data protection and cookies
How we process personal data is explained in the privacy policy, the use of cookies in the cookie policy and the processing on behalf of companies in the data processing agreement. They form part of these terms.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Bulgarian law and applicable European Union law. The courts of Sofia (Bulgaria) have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to the courts a consumer is entitled to under mandatory law.
17. Changes to this document
We may change this document to adapt it to legal or service changes. We will update the date and version at the top and, if the change is significant, announce it beforehand in the application or by email.
